This satellite includes five radiation hardened Coldfire CPUs running RTEMS. There are more details and links at the RTEMS Ramblings Blog. We are looking forward to the discoveries sure to be made with SDO.
(February 20, 2010) The wonderful people at the Google Open Source Program have added a blog entry on RTEMS and our success in the Google Summer of Code 2009. We are hopefully looking forward to being included in the 2010 program and being equally successful.
OAR Corporation has designed some flyers about RTEMS, user applications, and OAR RTEMS services. Hopefully these will help you convince your management that selecting RTEMS is the right thing to do. If nothing else, they should help prove that some serious applications are based upon RTEMS.
The primary RTEMS source image is a collection of software that is licensed under a variety of free and open source licenses appropriate for use in embedded systems. The common characteristic of all of these licenses EXCEPT the GoAhead Webserver License is that they allow linking with no requirements placed on the end user application. The following licenses apply to the various components.
