I meant to say that GNU style was probably the only style option for which
any significant body of tools existed to help you. Another advantage is
that the style guide already exists. :)
FWIW GNU Ada has an option to enforce "gnat style" but they do not
directly document it and will do everything they can to convince you not
to use it. They do not want to be held accountable for changing it in the
future.
Based on your experience how long would you think it would take to convert
a signficant body of code like RTEMS.
NOTE: I am not saying a change in style is going to happen. :) I
just acknowledge that numerous submitted pieces in RTEMS do not follow the
same style and this is a problem. In my defense, I would rather have a
stylistically different useful submission than not have it.
