I just bought a PC Minicard a couple of weeks ago that has the AMI bios
onboard, PC/104 header, and no PCI support. Some embedded vendors are
trying to keep ISA from dying out (reported in Computer Design in the last
month). An attempt that I believe will ultimately fail.
So in short: I think the PCI support is appropriate for inclusion with the
bare 386 configurations, but must always be configurable.
