This would be interesting to us, too, as we are considering both RTEMS and
commercial development tools. I think it would be much better to preserve
the RTEMS directory structure, however: I put the RTEMS source tree under
CVS on my host, which makes it easy to track and report changes.
Question to Joel/OAR: might it be helpful to support anonymous-CVS checkouts
of the RTEMS source tree, as is done (for example) by the eCos managers?
