outstanding patches

I have to give the final for the real-time class I am teaching Thursday.
Projects for that class are due this week.

I say this because I am behind on merging patches and I see 3 LARGE ones
sitting in my inbox. :)  So bear with me... I have your patches and will
get to them.

I also have gotten some feedback on the C++ problem but it did not fix it.
It was recommended that rtems.h define NO_IMPLICIT_EXTERN_C but that had
no impact.  I am trying defining it to 1 but I don't think that will have
any impact.

By missing the deadline for gcc 2.95 on the elf transition, I missed the
deadline for all 2.95 releases.  gcc 3.0 is where this will show up.  So
there will be a gcc 2.95.1 patch.

Bear with me.. I am catching up.
