Anyone successfully port RTEMS to the SBC5206e?

I've been trying to port RTEMS to my SBC5206e board (actually, it's the
M5206EC3 board from Cadre III) with no luck. What I did was apply Dave's
patches for the SBC5206, and modified the linker scripts and defaulted the
console to the internal UART instead of the HC901.
When I run the the sample hello world program from dBUG, I get some garbage
characters. After that, every character I type into the console is echoed
back as corrupted. I suspect that RTEMS returned to dBUG successfully or in
error, but the serial port is all messed up. Hitting reset restored
everything to normal operation.
I'm currently tracing the RTEMS code line by line with GDB (using the
awesome BDM patches!), but I'm hoping you guys could give me some advice!
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Max
