Is anyone else using a Cygwin host for a pc386 target?
I've been seeing several problems both with the tool set build, and with the
BSP, so I wonder if anyone else is using this particular combination.
What I am seeing:
an i386-elf build fails trying to build ld. Specifically, eelf_i386.o can't
find some bfd_elf_* functions it needs.
Using a i386 (coff) tool set, I can get everything to build if I remove the
output instructions which specify elf in the pc386 bsp makefile, and remove
the tests and sample applications from the build. The sample applications
won't link, and the error seems to indicate that ld can't find some file:
"ld: cannot open : No such file or directory"
I've really been banging my head trying to get the toolset and OS to build
correctly, so if there are any pointers for Cygwin users, I'd appreciate it.
