Path name evaluation.

Hello,

   In the FTPD code, I keep track of the current path using the
chdir() command.  This isn't very nice to the rest of the
system, however.  Can I somehow use the RTEMS filesystem path
evaluation commands to do all the dirty work of verifying that
a path is good?

   Since chdir() uses global information, I'd like to avoid its
use.  I'd prefer to keep the current working directory myself, 
but don't want to evaluate the path.
