Help required with C++ exceptions and the PowerPC

We were unsuccessful at getting cdtest to run on the MBX860/MBX821. We
traced the problem to bad (magic) code in libgcc2, specifically in the
function prologue for __throw().  Has anyone gotten C++ exceptions to
work on the PowerPC? Any hints will be appreciated.
