I will merge the rtems port into the OpenPalm and publish a new file release
onto the sourceforge. However, my current working schedule is tight, I hope
I can get this done before the next century :-). Thanks for your
contribution and please keep on supporting OpenPalm project.

Subject: [Openpalm-devel] OpenPalm port to RTEMS
I have spent a few days working on porting OpenPalm to RTEMS
and now have most of the porting layer written. There are a
number of things left to deal with and this is an invitation
for help. Some of the issues left are:
+ The OpenPalm framebuffer interface for RTEMS is a stub.
+ alloca() is undefined.
+ settimeofday() needs to be implemented in RTEMS.
+ The use of POSIX condition variables in the thread interface
has some tinkering left to do in regard to timeouts and
the use of pthread_cond_wait().
+ no testing yet.
Overall, I think the port is actually in pretty good shape and
just needs some gently love to push it along. With the holidays
coming up, I won't be able to spend more time on it.

port is far enough along where it could be merged and work done
