System V samphone check fail in redhat Linux 6.1

hi everyone:
   this days,i am try to compiling rtems-4.0.0 in my redhat Linux 6.1 (i486),but before "make",the "configure" say my Linux  box not support System V samphome,so the "configure" exit.
   i do not know if it is because my linux version too high.
