Booting RTEMS PC386 via dos prompt

Subject: Booting RTEMS PC386 via dos prompt

Hi, has anyone booted an RTEMS image file from the DOS prompt a little like
"loadlin", which boots linux from dos?

Once boot it is not required to return to the DOS prompt at program end.

Any pointers in the right direction would be grateful.
