gcc/gdb testsuites on rtems and psim simulator

I'm running the GDB and GCC testsuites on RTEMS and the PSIM simulator.
 One problem I've run into is a lot of the tests end with "return 0;"
which just causes RTEMS to sit idle and the testsuite to fail that test.
 The quick fix I did was to substitute "exit(0);".  Is there a better
approach?
