gdb docs for processor simulators

Is up to date documentation available for the processor simulators in gdb, 
expecially the PowerPC simulator?
I looked at the gdb docs at fsf.org, but they were very sparse.  I found a 
psim doc at redhat, but it was very old, left from before psim was 
incorporated into gdb.
I'm trying to find a simulator which incorporates the memory management 
unit from the IBM 440 processor core.
