execution time on ERC32 simulator

I would like to estimate the execution time of our program on the ERC32 
processor with RTEMS operating system. Is it possible to estimate it 
using the sparc-rtems-simulator? I thought to use the clock-get 
directive. Is the time returned by this directive the "real" time of 
ERC32 or is affected by the platform on which I'm running the ERC32 
simulator?
