hi
i have a few basic doubts regarding rtems
1. when i say rtems is configured for a specific
target
what exactly does it imply?..
2. i am using rtems for a LEON based system...if
suppose
i want my system to implement PPPoE,do i have
to write all the associated drivers myself and if i
do
write them how do i incorporate them into rtems..??
3. can anybody explain how an incoming ethernet frame
is handled by a LEON/RTEMS based SoC system?..
i mean how is it detected, processed and then sent
to any application or forwarded further on the
network?...will the packet handlers be tasks?..
4. i have installed rtems-4.6.0pre4 on my linux
m/c....
i want to know whether is it absolutely essential
for me to write my own makefiles for any projects
that are developed by me?
thanks in advance for any help in this regard
Anand
