Error while bootstrap

Hello.

This should be something simple, but...

I am trying to move from my old RTEMS  to the 4.7 version.
I copied my old myBSP.cfg into make/custom and run bootstrap:
...
./c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/ep1a
./c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/FDR_8247
autoheader: error: AC_CONFIG_HEADERS not found in configure.ac
automake: cannot open < ../../../../../../automake/compile.am: No such file or 
directory
grep: Makefile.in: No such file or directory
./c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/helas403
...

As I am totally stupid in this "auto..." stuff, I shall be very thankfull for 
any hints...
