I am sorry but I did not look at your email in detail until this post.

RTEMS should allow dynamic configuration of RAM disks. I will take a look at 
this and see what I find. I have followed the same initialisation for the 
flash disk and the nvdisk and so will look at these as well. It may be later 
this week.
