I.e. yes, like most other Linux distros RHEL5/CentOS5 ships a gm4 which
is known to suffer from known bugs. However, the version of gm4 coming
with RHEL5/CentOS5 is considered to be sufficient for autoconf-2.62.

=> No, the RHEL5/CentOS5 based RTEMS toolchains are not affected. 
ATM, there are no plans to discontinue them.
