Hi,
I would like to branch 4.9 in late June if
all goes well. So if you have new BSPs or
other changes you want to see in 4.9.0,
start talking and starting submitting.
There are things the community can do to
help get us to 4.9.0 faster.
+ Test the BSPs you have hardware for and
update the Wiki page with information
and a "it's OK" report.
+ Pitch in on BSP maintenance by updating BSPs
to use the shared BSP code that might not
have existed when the BSP was written.
SPARC/ERC32 and PowerPC/psim are good examples.
(1) the clock driver template
(2) the new modification that lets shared code
in bootcard.c split memory between the
RTEMS Workspace and C Program Heap AND
initialize the C Library.
(3) add nanoseconds since tick support
Many hands and many eyes help make RTEMS better.
