4.10 and warning reduction

Hi,

For those actively building the CVS head, please try to
submit patches that remove warnings in your configuration.
This is an area where many hands do indeed make light work.
Trying to remove warnings across all BSPs is a chore for
me and other maintainers but you are only using a few BSPs.
Plus you can actually test the result.
