RAW SOCKET and PF_PACKET

Dear All,
    i'm developing an application where I need to receive and send packets at the device driver (OSI Layer 2) level.
In Linux OS, this can be done using the PF_PACKET on a RAW_SOCKET.

As far as I know, this option is not available in RTEMS (4.9.0).

Does anybody know if there are other solutions?
